|Project:||OpenStack Project Infrastructure|
With the share of chef cookbooks and puppet modules, the systems administration community has been moving toward a more open model for systems management. The OpenStack Core Infrastructure team has taken this one step further by publishing all systems configurations in a public git repository, releasing all of our code as open source and by subjecting all changes made to public code review. Will discuss the framework used to accomplish this, how this has brought benefit to the project and ongoing challenges.
Elizabeth Krumbach Joseph is an Automation and Tools Engineer at HP working on the OpenStack Infrastructure team. She also has contributed extensively to the Ubuntu project.
